Ashley Shires, M.A., is a writer and teacher who helps her students find meaning and creativity in their lives using tools she has studied and used herself for decades, including writing, yoga and mindfulness practices.
Ashley has taught writing classes and workshops at yoga studios, conferences, schools and colleges — for 17 years, and her writing is published in literary journals and magazines including SF Yoga Magazine, Elephant Journal, The Denver Post and The Rocky Mountain News. She loves to travel, ride her bike and spend time in nature. She recently participated in Ride for Rights, a trip to Southeast Asia, riding her bicycle from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to Siem Reap, Cambodia, raising money for UN Women projects.
A Colorado-based mother of two daughters, Ashley is thrilled to study, practice and share tools that have helped her live a more creative, present and joyful life.
