Caroline Escalante recently joined Headspace as their VP of Talent for Headspace, responsible for global talent strategy and overseeing the Talent Acquisition team. Her area of expertise is at the intersection of aggressive staffing for tech companies in hyper-growth moments, building high-performing teams, and assisting business leaders in setting their long-term strategic vision. She will lead Headspace’s efforts to recruit top talent enterprise-wide with an immediate focus on the rapidly expanding Technology/Engineering and Partnerships/B2B disciplines.
Prior to joining Headspace, Escalante spent 10+ years at Google, where she was responsible for building and running the teams sourcing tech talent across North America and Brazil. As part of Google’s staffing leadership team, she helped build the sourcing organization at Google from the ground up, expanding the team from 20 to 250+ recruiters and managing large recruiting teams based in Seattle, California, New York, and Colorado. She also served as interim Global Head of Diversity for all technology hiring across the company and was involved in the initial build out of Google’s Hardware hiring initiatives. Prior to Google, Escalante spent several years recruiting media and technology talent for Microsoft.
