Recess was an unconventional evening presented by the AMA Colorado and Ignite Denver and managed by Equili. Attendees gathered at the Denver Museum of Art to gain inspiration and give their left brain a rest. Recess brought speakers and experts from all walks of life to give attendees an opportunity to break away from their daily routine; recharge and find inspiration to refuel their creative energy.
The inspiration for Recess came from remembering school recess, it put a smile on everyone’s face. In adulthood, recess has been replaced by the coffee break, the stretch, or a walk around the block. But nothing really replaces RECESS. A time when we put our left brains away, and took in the fresh air. Where we teased, laughed, ran, dodged balls, hopscotched, and generally took a break. Recess was designed for attendees to find inspiration and creativity.
Colorado’s marketing network joined eight amazing speakers as they shared their insights on what they do to find creativity outside of the cubicle.
Recess’ speakers covered 5 tracks to spark the creative process: Creativity, Body, Play, Balance and The Difficult.
